After a decade on the stage–from Broadway to playing Dora in the live action film–actress Isabela Merced’s latest role in “Turtles All the Way Down” marked a shift in her career from lighthearted family favorites to more serious roles that touch on the complexities of the human experience. For her feature in Latina magazine, I wanted to do a photoshoot that showed her in a more mature and confident way but also highlighted her playful personality. Link to the story is here.
